Hi, I'm Nathalia, the artist behind NatVel Art Designs. I was born in Colombia, raised in Miami, Florida, and now call Georgia home. By profession, I'm an educator, and teaching has always been a meaningful part of my life. I'm also a proud mom of three; two are away at college, and my youngest is beginning middle school. As my children have grown more independent, I've been able to dedicate more time to pursuing my lifelong passion for art. My artistic journey began with drawing intricate mandalas, which eventually led me to publish a mandala coloring book. Curious to explore new mediums, I started experimenting with watercolor before discovering acrylic painting, and I never looked back.
After visiting a local art market and seeing so many talented artists sharing their work, I felt inspired to begin creating paintings of my own. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a true passion. Today, I create original floral paintings in acrylic, drawn to soft palettes, nature, and the quiet feeling a piece of art can bring to a room. My work centers on magnolias, soft gradients, and restrained compositions with fine line detail and touches of gold.
